Welcome, I'm Ashley
Founder. Educator. Social Change Leader.
Trauma & Wellness Specialist. Intuitive Eating Counselor.
My Story...How I Got Started
My first degree was a Bachelor's in Business Management. Being a first-generation college student was not easy. I was challenged with limited resources, tools and experience. At first, Business felt like the career path I'd remain on, except my passions for counseling and teaching overrode the accounting knowledge I had attained. The development of business skills became the foundation I needed to successfully launch Valley Wellness Counseling in 2015.

In 2012, New York's highest ranking School of Social Work, Fordham University, became my Alma Mater.
My post-degree experience lies in working with clients of all ages, diversity, and intersectionality. I am licensed in the state of CT to treat clients with mental health services, holistic wellness and trauma-related therapy. I am intentional about centering the voices of BIPOC communities (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) that are often ignored to help explore and heal from educational, social and systemic injustice.
I have taught as an adjunct professor for over five years. I have a passion for navigating emerging leaders through high school and into their desired colleges and careers. In my free time, I enjoy the long-distance running, the outdoors, community advocacy, and spending time with friends and family.
So, Let's talk about what's important in your life.
